Cyril Shroff Centre for AI, Law & Regulation: The Cyril Shroff Centre for Al, Law & Regulation is India’s first Global Centre of Excellence dedicated to the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, law, policy, and governance. Established at Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University, the Centre serves as a leading platform for research, policy engagement, capacity building, and knowledge creation in the rapidly evolving field of Al regulation.

    The Centre collaborates with governments, legal institutions, industry leaders, think tanks, international organizations, and academic institutions to develop responsible and future-ready Al governance frameworks. Through interdisciplinary research and engagement, the Centre addresses the legal, ethical, and societal challenges arising from emerging Al technologies.

Qualifications

  1. Cyril Shroff Centre for AI, Law & Regulation: LL.M./Ph.D. in law and Computer Science, or Al ethics. Interdisciplinary research credentials are essential. The candidate should have excellent track record of publications.
  2. Motwani Jadeja Institute for American Studies (MJIAS): Qualifications: Ph.D./M.A. in American Studies, Political Science, International Relations, or related fields. Prior engagement with US-India issues is a strong preference.
