About the Job
Begur & Partners is hiring an M&A Lawyer for its Mumbai office. The role offers an opportunity to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions transactions in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
Eligibility
Candidates must:
- Have 5–7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in M&A transactions.
- Possess strong experience in due diligence, drafting, negotiations, and transaction closing.
- Demonstrate excellent legal acumen, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.
- Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Have strong legal research, drafting, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Working on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions.
- Conducting legal due diligence and drafting transaction documents.
- Negotiating and finalising transaction documentation.
- Collaborating with senior team members to deliver high-quality legal solutions.
- Advising clients on the strategic and commercial aspects of transactions.
