About the Job
Evara Legal LLP is hiring an Associate for its Corporate & Transactional Practice at its Delhi office. The role offers the opportunity to work directly with the firm’s founding partners on mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, insolvency, real estate, and regulatory matters while managing transactions from inception to completion.
Eligibility
Candidates must:
- Have 2–4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate or transactional practice.
- Possess prior experience working in a law firm.
- Have strong drafting, redlining, and attention to detail.
- Have a sound understanding of the Companies Act, Contract Law, and the FEMA framework.
- Be capable of independently managing multiple client mandates.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, Shareholders’ Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, and financing documents.
- Supporting mergers and acquisitions and private transactions, including legal due diligence and transaction closing.
- Advising clients on company law, LLP matters, FEMA, and other regulatory issues.
- Interacting directly with clients and managing transactions on an end-to-end basis.
