About the Job
Frido is hiring a legal professional with 3–4 years of experience to support its in-house legal function. The role involves advising the business on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, marketing and advertising laws, intellectual property, privacy, and other legal matters while providing commercially focused legal solutions.
Eligibility
Applicants should:
- Have 3–4 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal role.
- Ideally have exposure to D2C or product-based businesses.
- Be comfortable handling commercial contracts, marketing and advertising compliance, packaging and labelling, privacy, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, legal notices, and cross-functional business advisory.
- Possess strong commercial acumen, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to take ownership of legal matters.
Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Advise on marketing and advertising compliance.
- Handle packaging and labelling compliance.
- Provide legal advice on privacy and intellectual property matters.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Respond to legal notices.
- Advise cross-functional business teams on legal and commercial issues.
- Develop and strengthen legal processes within the organisation.
