About Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya
1884 is the landmark year when the foundation stone of the Shri Vaishnav Group of Institutions was laid by the compassionate cloth merchants of the Vaishnav community of Indore. Later rechristened as the Shri Vaishnav Sahayak Kapada Market Committee in 1934, the Trust has consistently worked towards nation-building through quality education, healthcare, and environmental initiatives.

About the Competition
Shri Vaishnav Institute of Law, Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore proudly presents NYAYASETU – 1st Inter-University Mediation Competition, 2026, with the theme:
“Bridging Conflicts through Dialogue: Advancing Mediation in Contemporary India.”
The competition aims to promote mediation as an effective Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism by providing law students with practical exposure to mediation proceedings while developing their skills in negotiation, communication, conflict resolution, and consensus-building.
The competition will be conducted in Hybrid Mode:
- Online: Preliminary Rounds, Quarter Finals & Semi Finals (10–12 September 2026)
- Offline: Final Round & Valedictory Ceremony (26 September 2026) at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore.
Eligibility
- The competition is open to students pursuing 3-Year LL.B. or 5-Year Integrated LL.B. programmes in India.
- Each institution may nominate one team.
Team Composition
Each team shall consist of three members:
- One Mediator
- One Client
- One Counsel
The designated roles must remain unchanged throughout the competition.
Registration Fee
The registration fee for the participation is ₹2,000 per Team.
Prize Pool
- Winner Team – Trophy + Certificate of Merit + ₹11,000
- Runner-Up Team – Trophy + Certificate of Merit + ₹6,000
- Best Mediator – Trophy + Certificate of Merit + ₹3,000
