Pay Scale
- Academic Level-10 (7th CPC)
- Entry Pay: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400 per month
- In addition to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), annual increments, and other admissible benefits as per UGC norms.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in Political Science, Economics, or Law from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
- Fulfil any one of the following:
- Be NET (UGC/CSIR) qualified; or
- Be SET/SLET qualified; or
- Hold a Ph.D. in accordance with the UGC Regulations (eligible for exemption from NET).
Experience
- No mandatory teaching or research experience is required as per UGC norms.
- Relevant teaching, research, or professional experience will be considered desirable.
- Preference will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST, Backward Classes, or other Socially and Economically Weaker Sections.
Age Limit
Maximum 35 years
