Indian Journal of Contemporary Legal and Social Issues is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing rigorous legal scholarship. Every submission undergoes editorial review before acceptance, ensuring the journal maintains genuine academic quality rather than accepting manuscripts on the basis of payment alone.
The Editorial Board consists of professors from prestigious universities such as Symbiosis Law School, Nirma Law University, NMIMS School of Law and others.

Submission Categories & Word Limits

Note: The journal may be flexible on word limits depending on the quality of the article.
Submission Guidelines
- Manuscript must be in MS Word (.doc/.docx) format.
- Work must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
- Submissions must be free of plagiarism, grammatical, and spelling errors.
- Include an abstract along with author affiliation.
- Full names of all author(s) must be provided.
- Citations should follow a uniform, consistent method (e.g., APA, OSCOLA, Bluebook 20th ed.).
- Body text: Times New Roman, size 12, 1.5 line spacing. Footnotes: Times New Roman, size 10, single spacing.
How to Submit?
You can submit your manuscript through either of the following:
- Email: submissions@ijclsi.in with the subject line “Submission of Manuscript”
- Google Form attached at the end of the post.
Publication Details
The publication fee is payable only after acceptance of the manuscript:
- Single-authored manuscript: Rs. 800
- Co-authored manuscript: Rs. 1000
- 3 or more Co-authored manuscript: Rs. 1200
Important Dates
- Last date for submission: 14th August
- Communication of review result: within 2 working days of submission
- Publication within 6 hours of payment of Publication Fee
