DAKSH — a Bengaluru-based civil society organisation working on judicial reforms at the intersection of data science, public policy, and operations research — is inviting applications for Research Associate – Commercial Dispute Resolution, based in Delhi.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Legal and empirical research on commercial courts, arbitral institutions, and sector-specific tribunals
- Research on corporate and financial laws (company law, insolvency, securities, competition)
- Draft policy briefs, research papers, and reports
- Analyse quantitative data including case pendency and tribunal performance metrics
- Coordinate with judicial officers, government officials, and industry stakeholders
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. degree
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in litigation, arbitration, or policy research
- Working knowledge of tribunals and specialised adjudicatory bodies in India
- Solid grounding in corporate law and financial regulation
- Strong legal research, data analysis, and policy writing skills
