The Delhi Judicial Reforms Council (DJRC) operates under the umbrella of the National Judicial Reforms Council, affiliated with the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI)—India’s leading national business chamber dedicated to empowering women professionals, entrepreneurs, and changemakers. WICCI aims to create global impact through transformative leadership and gender-inclusive reforms.

Applications are now open for membership in DJRC for the 2025–26 term. This is a prestigious opportunity exclusively for female law students across India who are committed to advancing legal reforms and strengthening women's rights through active engagement and leadership.

Council’s Mission & Focus Areas

• Advocating for the enhancement of legal status of individuals, particularly women, through rights-based reforms

• Promoting legal education and awareness, enabling citizens to assert their legal entitlements

• Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for the unobstructed exercise of legal rights

• Motivating individuals to participate in the legal system with accountability

• Leveraging judicial expertise to drive efficient, actionable reforms through systemic engagement

Eligibility Criteria

👩‍⚖️ Open to female law students currently enrolled in BCI-recognized law colleges or universities across India.

Role & Responsibilities

As a member of the Council, you will:

• Collaborate with the President, Vice President, Management Head, and fellow members on key initiatives

• Co-develop a vision roadmap for your area of focus

• Lead and contribute to community outreach initiatives to spread legal awareness and foster empowerment

• Help draft recommendations and policy representations for submission to government bodies and institutions, contributing to real-world policy change
