  • Arbitration counsel representing claimants and respondents
  • Drafting arbitration agreements and procedural orders
  • Appearing in arbitration-related proceedings in courts
  • Advising on enforcement of arbitral awards
  • Institutional arbitration at DIAC, Mumbai Centre and MCIA
  • Acting as sole or panel arbitrator in commercial disputes

Skills Required

  • Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and 2015 amendments
  • Contract law and commercial dispute expertise
  • Drafting of statements of claim, defence and counterclaim
  • Evidence and discovery in arbitration proceedings
  • Knowledge of institutional arbitration rules (DIAC, MCIA, ICA)
  • Enforcement of awards under the New York Convention
