About the Internship

Nuvama Group is seeking a law student intern to join its Legal Team at the Mumbai office for a full-time, on-site internship lasting 6 months. This opportunity is ideal for those aspiring to build a career in corporate law, securities regulation, and legal advisory services within the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

The selected intern will be involved in:

1. Conducting legal research and interpreting relevant laws, rules, and judicial precedents

2. Examining legal aspects of new business proposals

3. Drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts and legal documents

4. Assisting in formulating the company’s legal policies and positions

5. Performing additional tasks related to legal advisory and documentation, as assigned

Eligibility Criteria

1. Must be currently pursuing LL.B. from a reputed law school/university

2. Preferred: Working knowledge of corporate law and securities law

3. Prior internship experience with a corporate legal department or law firm is desirable

Skills Required

1. Strong legal research and drafting skills

2. Excellent written and verbal communication

3. Analytical mindset with attention to detail
