About Chhanv Foundation:
Chhanv Foundation is an Indian NGO dedicated to rehabilitating, empowering, and supporting acid attack survivors. We provide medical, psychological, legal, and vocational assistance, and run Sheroes Hangout Cafés, empowering spaces managed by survivors. Our work aims to drive systemic change, prevent acid violence, and advocate for survivor-friendly policies.
Location:
Maharashtra
Positions:
4 Volunteers (5 + 2)
Eligibility:
* Law student
* Resident of Maharashtra
* Proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi
Responsibilities:
* Research and report on local acid attack cases.
* Gather information from police stations, hospitals, and communities.
* Assist with documentation, reporting, and awareness campaigns.
* Support survivor engagement and outreach.
* Perform administrative tasks as needed.
Details:
* Mode: Hybrid (Work from home + on-ground field visits if required)
* Timings: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
* Duration: 1 or 2 months
* Last Date to Apply: June 20, 2025
Stipend:
Available upon satisfactory performance; top volunteer receives special recognition. Potential for paid internship.
