About the Organization

Shuruwat Foundation is a government-registered NGO, founded in 2019 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, and officially recognized in March 2020. With its recent expansion into Uttarakhand, the Foundation has grown into a large family of kind-hearted individuals. It is committed to serving society across several key areas:

• Human development – assisting elderly people with access to old age homes or supporting their small businesses

• Environmental development – tree plantation and animal welfare

• Women’s safety and welfare – promoting awareness

• Employment support – helping underprivileged individuals secure jobs and opportunities

Nature of Internship

As an active group of changemakers, Shuruwat Foundation is focused on providing social internships with the goal of impacting as many lives as possible.

Eligibility

Open for all. Everyone is welcome to contribute to social service, no specific qualification or experience required.

Task

• Week 1: Editorial
  "There is nothing stronger than being able to affect and create an impact using your words." Interns will select a topic related to social welfare or social work and express their thoughts through impactful writing.

• Week 2: Fund Raising

• Week 3: PR & Marketing
  Interns will work to spread awareness about how Shuruwat Foundation operates and supports underprivileged communities, providing basic amenities and empowering women through initiatives like menstrual pad distribution.
  Tasks include sharing posters and promoting our social media handles to help expand our reach.

• Week 4: Social Welfare
  Interns will engage in real-time social work, such as distributing sanitary pads or food.
