Job Overview

As a Contract Specialist – Global Procurement, you will support the contract lifecycle for United Airlines' procurement operations, partnering closely with teams in India and the U.S. You’ll be involved in reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and executing contracts across key supplier categories such as Technology, Shared Services, Hotels, and Airport Operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Review, draft, negotiate, and execute procurement contracts

· Support cross-functional teams with third-party supplier agreements

· Organize and maintain contract documentation; implement automation as needed

· Address and resolve procurement-related concerns such as delays, discrepancies, and compliance issues

· Manage supplier risk and monitor contract adherence

· Oversee contract expiration and renewal processes

· Stay aligned with market trends and strategic sourcing goals

Eligibility Criteria

Required:

· Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Engineering, Economics, SCM, or related field

· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, finance, or contracts

· Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

· Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

· Highly organized and detail-oriented

· Legally authorized to work in India without sponsorship

· Fluent in English (written and spoken)

· Must have reliable, punctual attendance and clear interview performance

Preferred:

· Master’s degree

· Prior experience in contract negotiation and management

· Familiarity with procurement and strategic sourcing processes

· Background in the airline or transportation sector

· Experience with procurement in Technology or related categories
