About the Opportunity

AQUILAW is inviting applications for the position of Senior Associate in their Mumbai office.

The ideal candidate should have a solid grounding in dispute resolution, particularly in civil litigation, including property disputes, constitutional, contractual, and recovery-related matters. The role involves working closely under the guidance of Partner Neerav Merchant and the Principal Associate.

The candidate should be well-versed in case management, legal research, and court procedures, and possess fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi. A proactive, client-focused, and solutions-driven attitude is essential.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 3–4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)

• Proficient in filing and court procedures specific to the Bombay High Court and City Civil Court

• Experience in managing commercial disputes, including the drafting and filing of miscellaneous and interim applications

• Solid understanding of commercial laws

• Basic knowledge of criminal litigation will be an added advantage

• Candidates must be born, brought up, and educated in Mumbai
