About the Opportunity

Amicus Services is hiring a Tax Associate in New Delhi. This role offers hands-on experience in International Taxation, Transfer Pricing, Corporate Tax, and Customs, making it an excellent opportunity to build a career in taxation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare Transfer Pricing documentation, including Local Files, Master Files, benchmarking studies, and FAR analyses.
  • Conduct industry, financial, and economic research to support transfer pricing and tax advisory assignments.
  • Assist in Transfer Pricing audits, assessments APAs, DRP matters, CIT(A) appeals, and tax litigation.
  • Support corporate tax advisory, tax planning compliance, return preparation, and assessments.
  • Work on international tax matters involving DTAA, BEPS, Permanent Establishment (PE), withholding tax and cross-border transactions.
  • Conduct legal research on tax laws, judicial precedents, and regulatory developments.
  • Draft tax updates, legal submissions, client memoranda, and responses to tax authorities.
  • Assist in customs advisory, including valuation and import/export compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality tax solutions while staying updated on evolving tax and regulatory developments.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: LLB, CA, MBA (Finance), CFA, M.Com, or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance or Law.
  • Experience: 0-2 years (excluding internships, articleship). Freshers with a strong interest in taxation are encouraged to apply.

Skills

  • Strong drafting, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of Transfer Pricing, Corporate Tax, International Tax, Customs, DTAA, and BEPS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with benchmarking tools (e.g., Ace TP) and tax databases is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
