Key Responsibilities
- Title verification and due diligence — reviewing title search reports and legal opinions
- Examining chain of title, encumbrances, and municipal records
- Identifying title defects and advising on corrective steps
- Evaluating property classifications (freehold/leasehold)
- Preparing legal opinions on title quality and associated risks
- Communicating legal issues clearly to non-legal stakeholders
Eligibility
- LLB / LLM degree
- Prior experience in a bank, NBFC, law firm, or real estate practice with exposure to property title verification
- Strong understanding of property law, land laws, stamp and registration laws
- Proficiency in reviewing title documents and revenue records
