- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent full-time degree) from a recognised Indian University/Institute
- 6 years of courtroom practice as an advocate, judicial service member, or CPSU legal representative; OR 9 years in a lower grade position within a CPSU, Central Government, or State Government
- Maximum age: 34 years
