About the Role
This is a temporary/contract legal counsel role with a large financial services organisation focused on investment and asset management. The role involves end-to-end commercial contracting with exposure to fintech and SaaS environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts while identifying risks
- Manage contract lifecycle processes including intake, review, and obligation tracking
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on contract matters
- Utilise CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) systems to maintain records and improve templates
- Support compliance efforts and risk identification activities
Eligibility
- LLB degree with 5–9 years post-qualification experience in commercial contracting
- Strong contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation skills
- Working knowledge of contract lifecycle management tools
- Experience in technology, SaaS, fintech, or financial services preferred
