About the Opportunity
K&S Partners’ Trademark Team is hiring a Senior Associate with 5-7 years of experience for their Mumbai office.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Advise on filing strategies, clearance searches, registrability, and risk assessment
- Prepare and review trademark availability opinions and legal advisories
- Prosecute trademark applications before the Indian Trademarks Registry
- Handle Madrid Protocol filings and international portfolio coordination
- Advise on assignments, licenses, coexistence agreements, and recordals
- Handle trademark oppositions, rectifications, cancellations, and related proceedings
- Manage client trademark portfolios and liaise with clients
Eligibility Criteria
- Law degree (LLB) with specialization or keen interest in intellectual property law
- 5-7 years of experience
- Good command of written and spoken English; strong legal drafting skills
- Detail-oriented; able to handle deadlines and multiple assignments
