About the Job
Take It Easy Engineers is hiring an Associate – Legal for its in-house legal team. The role is suited for legal professionals with 1–4 years of experience in an in-house legal team or a law firm handling corporate legal matters. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, legal documentation, and providing legal support across business functions.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Hold an LL.B. degree (LL.M. is preferred).
- Have 1–4 years of experience as an in-house legal associate or with a law firm handling corporate legal matters.
- Possess a strong understanding of corporate laws, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrate excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, Service Agreements, Vendor Agreements, and Employment Contracts.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across business operations.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel whenever required.
- Handle legal documentation, notices, and contract lifecycle management.
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and business decisions.
- Support the HR, Finance, and Operations teams on legal matters.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in corporate or commercial law.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with start-up or technology companies will be an added advantage.
