About the Job
The Ministry of External Affairs is inviting applications for the position of Consultant (Legal) in the DE Division. The role is intended for experienced legal professionals with litigation experience and knowledge of Indian criminal laws.
Eligibility
- Age: 27–40 years.
- Graduate degree in Law.
- Experience of:
- 5 years of practice before a Sessions Court, or
- 3 years of practice before a High Court, or
- 2 years of practice before the Supreme Court.
- Desirable: Domain knowledge of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

01 (One).
Salary
The remuneration package will be commensurate with the experience and profile of the selected candidate, subject to a maximum of Rs. 83,300/- (Rupees Eighty Three Thousand and Three Hundred only) per month and
deduction of applicable taxes.
