About the Fellowship
ADF India is inviting applications for its Legal Fellowship Program, a 9.5-month paid apprenticeship designed for recent law graduates who are enrolled advocates. The Fellowship provides intensive training and practical exposure to public interest litigation, constitutional advocacy, human rights law, and religious freedom, enabling Fellows to build a meaningful career in public interest law.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a recent law graduate.
- Be enrolled as an Advocate.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in constitutional law, public interest litigation, and human rights.
- Possess intellectual rigour, integrity, compassion, and a commitment to grassroots advocacy.
Areas of Exposure
Selected Fellows will gain practical experience in:
- Public Interest Litigation (PIL)
- Constitutional Advocacy
- Human Rights Law
- Religious Freedom Litigation
- Legal Research and Strategic Advocacy
