About the Job
CEK has announced openings for the position of Legal Associate. The firm is hiring for General Litigation and IBC Litigation, with a total of three vacancies, and is seeking candidates with relevant litigation experience.
Eligibility
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Male and female candidates are eligible to apply.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough legal research.
- Preparing notes and discussing case prospects with in-house senior lawyers.
- Supervising and managing offline and online filing processes for courts.
- Drafting legal documents in accordance with the relevant court practices.
- Maintaining end-to-end records for all matters.
- Preparing lists of dates and argument notes.
- Briefing Senior Advocates when required.
- Assisting senior lawyers in case preparation, arguments, and hearings.
- Appearing and arguing before courts on assigned legal matters.
- Ensuring compliance with Bar Council of India rules and Chamber policies.
- Maintaining proper documentation and supervising assigned clerks.
- Communicating with clients through email and personal meetings.
- Arranging meetings for existing and prospective clients.
Experience
Minimum 2 years.
