About the Job

Societe Generale Securities India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Compliance professional for its hybrid office in Mumbai. The role involves managing regulatory compliance and governance across BSE, NSE, and MCX operations, ensuring adherence to SEBI regulations, Company Law, and Societe Generale Group policies.

Eligibility

  • Graduate in any discipline (LLB, B.A., or B.Com preferred).
  • Company Secretary qualification (Associate Member) is mandatory.
  • NISM Series III-A certification is preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of overall work experience, including 4–7 years of relevant experience in a compliance function, preferably with a broking firm.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely filing of regulatory reports with Exchanges, SEBI, and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
  • Review circulars and guidelines issued by SEBI, Exchanges, CCPs, and the MCA, and coordinate with relevant departments for timely implementation.
  • Assist the Head of Compliance in developing and maintaining policies and procedures in line with regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate regulatory inspections and internal audits with relevant departments.
  • Collaborate with regional teams on group projects and India-specific market and compliance matters.
  • Maintain secretarial records in accordance with Company Law.
  • Organise Board and Committee meetings and coordinate with external retainers on secretarial matters.
  • Perform surveillance and financial crime checks.
  • Deliver training programmes for staff and perform PS controls.
