About NUSRL, Ranchi
The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi was established by the Government of Jharkhand in 2010. The University is one of India’s leading National Law Universities and is committed to promoting excellence in legal education, research, and capacity building through academic and international collaborations.
About the Fellowship
NUSRL Ranchi has launched the Young Leader Fellowship Program 2026 under the Norec Exchange Programme in collaboration with FNB Nepal. The fellowship is aimed at providing participants with international exposure in legal leadership and capacity building through a cross-border exchange programme.
Selected Fellows will undertake a six-month fellowship at FNB Nepal, followed by a two-month knowledge-sharing and follow-up programme at NUSRL Ranchi.

Eligibility
Applications are invited from:
- LL.B. degree holders;
- Final-year integrated law students;
- LL.M. students;
- Research scholars; and
- Early-career legal professionals.
Duration
- 6 months at FNB Nepal; and
- 2 months of post-exchange knowledge-sharing and follow-up at NUSRL Ranchi.
Mode
International exchange programme comprising:
- An in-person fellowship in Nepal; followed by
- A post-exchange programme in India.
Age Limit
Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age.
Stipend
₹60,000 – 70,000 (subject to project funding norms).
Location
- FNB Nepal, Nepal; and
- National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, Jharkhand.
