About the Organiser
LexTech: Centre for Law, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation is a research centre dedicated to exploring the intersections of law and emerging technologies. With a focus on FinTech, AI, TMT, Online Gaming & Betting Laws, and Data Privacy, LexTech promotes interdisciplinary research, capacity building, and responsible tech adoption.
About the Competition
The Second Article Writing Competition invites students to engage in critical legal research under the theme “Regulatory Gaps in India’s Digital Ecosystem.” Participants are encouraged to explore the sub-themes as detailed in the brochure attached. Please note that the sub-themes are merely suggestive, and participants are encouraged to explore novel ideas under the broad theme.
Eligibility
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate law students from recognized universities, including integrated programs.
Participation allowed individually or in teams of two, including cross-institutional teams.
No limit on number of registrations per institution.
Submission Guidelines
Submit original, unpublished article of 1,500 to 2,000 words.
Must comply with formatting, citation, anonymity, plagiarism, and AI usage policies specified in the brochure.
Prizes
Winner: Internship opportunity at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices + ₹3,000 cash prize.
First Runner-Up: Internship opportunity at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices + ₹2,000 cash prize.
Second Runner-Up: Internship opportunity at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices + ₹1,000 cash prize.
Top 5 articles to be published by Manupatra.
Top 10 participants will receive Certificates of Merit; all participants will get Certificates of Participation.
