Write on how the law — its rules, institutions, and processes — is keeping up, or failing to keep up, with technology, automation, and social change. You may engage with any area of law: constitutional, criminal, corporate, intellectual property, data protection, labour, family, environmental, or international law.

Eligibility
- Students currently enrolled in 3-year LLB, 5-year integrated LLB, or LLM at any recognised university/institution in India
- Recent graduates may also participate
- Individual or two-author submissions; one article per participant/team
Submission Guidelines
- Length: 2,000–2,500 words (excluding footnotes and abstract)
- Abstract: Mandatory; maximum 200 words at the start
- Font: Times New Roman, 12pt (body), 10pt (footnotes); 1.5 line spacing; 1-inch margins
- Citations: Bluebook (21st edition) or ILI citation style; footnotes only
- File format: Word (.docx) or PDF
- Anonymity: No name, college, or identifying detail in the article or file metadata
- File name: VBTCF26_AW_[RegistrationID]_[ShortTitle]
- AI Content: Must not exceed 10%; disclose AI use in a first-page footnote
- Plagiarism limit: Below 15%

- Depth and soundness of legal analysis — 30%
- Originality and strength of the central argument — 20%
- Research and use of authority — 20%
- Structure, clarity, and quality of writing — 15%
- Citation accuracy and formatting — 10%
- Adherence to guidelines — 5%
