About the Book

International Law in a Fractured World: Conflict, Cooperation and Global Governance is an edited volume that critically examines the evolving role of international law in addressing the complexities of an increasingly fragmented global order.

The contemporary international landscape is characterized by armed conflicts, geopolitical rivalries, humanitarian crises, climate change, forced migration, technological disruption, economic uncertainty, and growing challenges to the effectiveness of multilateral institutions.

These developments have tested the resilience of the international legal system and underscored the need for innovative legal frameworks capable of promoting peace, cooperation, accountability, and sustainable global governance.

This volume seeks to provide a scholarly platform for academicians, researchers, legal practitioners, policymakers, diplomats, international organizations, and interdisciplinary scholars to engage with the pressing legal and policy issues shaping the international community.

It welcomes doctrinal, comparative, empirical, and policy-oriented research that critically analyses contemporary developments in international law while exploring practical and forward-looking solutions to emerging global challenges.
