About the Opportunity
BCG India is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to be a fully integrated member of their Global Legal Team in Gurugram. This is a senior role focused on complex commercial agreements, AI-related transactions, dispute management, and cross-functional stakeholder advisory.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as champion of BCG contracting and risk management standards
- Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements — global MSAs, client/vendor agreements, licensing, subcontractor and partnership agreements, NDAs, and AI/Gen AI technology deals
- Identify, assess, and manage legal risks from digital transformation and AI including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act
- Manage litigation and dispute resolution, advise on pre-litigation strategy
- Build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across BCG’s global business functions
- Provide general counseling on IP, digital/technology, data protection, competition law, and trade regulations
- Contribute to developing Legal Team know-how, templates, and technology solutions
Eligibility Criteria
- Indian qualified lawyer with 10+ years of commercial contracting experience
- International exposure and prior in-house experience required
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills in English
- Experience with large commercial programs and strategic, outcome-based perspective
