About the Job
Nilaya Legal has announced an opening for the position of Associate for its Corporate & Commercial and Venture Capital Practice. The role is intended for legal professionals who are interested in advising fast-growing businesses and founders on corporate and commercial transactions.
Eligibility
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- 1–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Exposure to venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), or joint venture (JV) transactions.
- Good understanding of corporate laws, FEMA, RBI regulations, and data privacy.
- Exposure to startups or venture-backed companies is desirable.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will work on matters relating to:
- Corporate and Commercial advisory.
- Venture Capital transactions.
- Private equity and investment matters.
- Mergers and acquisitions.
- Strategic corporate transactions.
