About the Job
The High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati is recruiting Law Clerks to assist the Court. A total of four vacancies are available for this position.
Eligibility
- Candidates must possess a Degree in Law from a recognised University by either:
- Completing a regular five-year integrated law course after 10+2; or
- Completing a regular graduation degree followed by a regular three-year LL.B. course from a recognised University or an affiliated college.
- Candidates studying in the fifth year of the five-year integrated law course or the third year of the three-year LL.B. course are also eligible to apply, subject to furnishing proof of obtaining the law degree before taking up the assignment.
- The law degree must have been obtained within two years immediately preceding the date of the notification.
- Candidates should not be pursuing any other regular course of study, profession, or occupation that may require them to be away from their place of work during the period of engagement.
- Candidates enrolled as Advocates must suspend their legal practice before joining as a Law Clerk and continue the suspension until completion of the Law Clerkship.
