About the Opportunity
YES BANK is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Legal Counsel. This opportunity is ideal for legal professionals seeking to work in the banking and financial services sector while gaining exposure to contract management, regulatory compliance, legal advisory, and risk mitigation functions.
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- 2-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Experience in banking, financial services, NBFCs, law firms, or corporate legal teams will be preferred.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills.
- Sound understanding of corporate, commercial, and banking laws.
Roles and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal advice and support to various business and operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
- Assist in managing litigation matters and coordinating with external legal counsel.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on a wide range of issues.
- Support business teams in evaluating legal implications of transactions and strategic initiatives.
